6.) The Name
Whenever your child is making a picture or doing a worksheet have them print their name at the top of the paper. This quickly teaches them what their name looks like and how to spell it.
7.) Identifying Letters
This is a good worksheet that you can find printable's of by using your search engines. This teaches him how to relate the letter and the sound that letter makes to objects that start with that letter.
Take old bottle caps and write letters on them in sharpie. Then give your child words and see if they can find the right bottle caps to match the letters in the word.
This is another thing that you can find printable's online. Your child will need to colour in the first letter of that object. ex. a for apple, p for pumpkin, h for hay, and c for corn.
8.) Brain Teazers
These are perfect examples of somethings that your child will face in kindergarten.
1.) Is simple mazes. They are easy to find as free printable's online and kids really love them.
2.) Colour the numbers. This teaches your child to follow directions, since they have to find the 1's colour them one color, 2's another color and so on. Again these are easy to find as free printable's.
3.) Color the same. Your child will have to find the objects (or bugs) that are the same and color them. (each set of bugs should be different colors)
4.) Dot-to-Dot. This helps them with their numbers again.
You can find different activities like this that you can print for free on:

9.) Patterns
This is one way to teach your child patterns, but there are many. My BooBoo likes to take her fruit snacks and create patterns with the different colors. Make sure to make it clear that patterns are not just colors, but shapes as well.
10.) Where Do They Go?
This is a game that teaches your child how to categorize thing. Like this.
Give your child pictures and have them place them where they go (like the ocean, or not). You can also do this with household objects. You could take stuff from the bathroom and other things from the kitchen and then ask your child which room it goes in.
11.) Numbers
Your child needs to be able to read, write, count and understand different numbers. Again practice sheets can be printed off of the internet for free. This is an excellent one that and fully approve of.

12.) Prepositions
This is a very cute and simple way to teach your child prepositions. Do this with any object and your child will understand in no time.
13.) The Review
This is pretty much what your child's examination sheet to enter kindergarten will look like. As you can see they need to be able to identify colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and prepositions.
One of the main websites I will suggest that has free worksheets that your kids will love doing is:
https://madebyteachers.com/
They have worksheets from pre-k to grade 6.
